Description

Threads of Peace began as a local initiative in 2012 and was officially registered as an organisation in 2019. We exist to support social peace, mainstream conflict sensitivity and strengthen the well-being of diverse communities, civil-society actors and institutions. Our organisation is proudly refugee-led, bringing together people with lived experience of displacement alongside Lebanese host communities. This diversity shapes how we design, deliver and learn from our programmes, placing trust and community leadership at the centre. At Threads of Peace, we advance a multidimensional approach to peacebuilding, treating peace not as an isolated sector but as a way of acting that strengthens relationships, participation and inclusion across the different spaces where communities seek change.
