Description
Caritas Jordan is a member of Caritas Internationalis, recognised as one of the largest humanitarian networks in the world, with more than 170 member associations across the globe. It is part of Caritas Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Amman, the capital of Jordan, is its main administrative centre. Since its official establishment and registration with the Ministry of Social Development in 1968, Caritas Jordan has worked to fight poverty and contribute to social development in Jordan, operating through several affiliated centres across different regions of the kingdom.
